The 2nd Biosupercomputing Symposium
Poster Sessions


This year again, for the purpose of building a new discipline of simulation research in life sciences, we are extensively collecting poster presentations from relevant fields.

The poster sessions will be held for two days, and flash talks are also scheduled this year. Awards for the excellent posters will be given at the end of the symposium. We look forward to many participants from a variety of fields.

Language
Posters, abstracts, and flash talks must be made in English.

Fee
Free of charge. Participants must pay their own costs of poster creation.


Contents and presentation style

Contents must be simulation research in life sciences. Both published and unpublished posters are welcome with the aim of exchanges between different fields.

A space for an A0 size poster (1189mm long×814mm wide), a table in front of the poster to distribute or display handouts, and a power source for demonstration with a note PC will be provided.


Registration for poster sessions
Registration acceptance period is from January 20 (Wed.) through February 20 (Sat.) 17:00.
Complete registration in the specified format within the above period. Registration must be made only by e-mail; no postal mail will be accepted. Confirmation of receipt will be sent by e-mail.
After registration is confirmed, submit an abstract in 1-2 pages of A4 papers in PDF format by e-mail no later than February 20 (Sat.) 17:00. The abstract will be printed in the symposium proceeding (black and white).

Treatment of personal information
RIKEN shall use the personal information provided by the registrants only for the purpose of identifying the participants of the 2nd Biosupercomputing Symposium (BSCS) poster sessions. RIKEN shall not use the information for any other purpose without obtaining the consent from the person concerned.
